Koumbie (she/they) is a multi-hyphenate actor, writer, filmmaker and intimacy coordinator.

 

They have trained extensively with many organizations including ICC (Intimacy Coordinators Canada), TIE (Theatrical Intimacy Educators), BIPOC Film & TV, IDC (Intimacy Directors and Coordinators), MHC (Mental Health Coordinators) and IPA (Intimacy Professionals International).

 

Screen IC credits include series The Trades (Crave), TPB: Jail Series (SWEARNET) and the upcoming NBC/Amazon series we were liars. Feature films IC credits include Permanent Damage (Seth Smith), There, There (Heather Young), and Look at Me (Taylor Olson). Stage credits include Romeo & Juliet (SBTS), The Last Show on Earth (Neptune), and Deepwater (Villains Theatre).

 

As one of the first intimacy coordinators in Atlantic Canada, Koumbie is grateful to see the shift towards more consent forward spaces.
