Certification Levels
LEVEL 1
Level 1 is an online course that has been created to solidify the foundations of intimacy work in performance.
Level 1 is open to any and all who are interested in how to integrate consent practices into the performance industry - both film/television and theatre.
Level 1 can be taken whether or not you intend to pursue certification.
LEVEL 2
Level 2 is an online course with an in-person component. It will build on the concepts from Level 1 and how they apply to the film and television industry.
Level 2 explores on-set best practices and how to integrate with other departments; it will also introduce participants to hands-on consent based work during the mandatory in-person session.
This course is geared toward the role of Intimacy Coordination and draws from the many years experience that Intimacy Coordinators Canada has in the film and television industry.
LEVEL 3
In Level 3, candidates transition from learning foundational ideas to the specific hands-on details of the day-to-day role of working as an Intimacy Coordinator.
This program consists of 12-weeks of online training and two in-person weekend workshops held in Toronto.
Admission into the Level 3 program with ICC is by application only. Application details below.
LEVEL 4
Level 4 aims to provide professional support as you begin working professionally in the industry as an Intimacy Coordinator.
The Level 4 Apprenticeship program offers 20 hours of one-on-one Mentorship with one of ICC's Certified Mentors, and the opportunity to shadow one of our senior ICs on-set.
